Terms of service

1. Who we are
raceframelab.com is operated by Race Frame Lab, a simple partnership (société simple) under Swiss law formed by Rubens Ferreira Gonçalves and Norman Piller, Onex (Geneva), Switzerland. Contact: contact@raceframelab.com.

These terms apply to every order placed on raceframelab.com. By placing an order, you accept them.

2. Our products
We sell personalised posters, framed prints and aluminium prints designed from the information, files and photos you provide. Product images on the site are examples made with sample data. Colours can vary slightly between screens and printed materials.

3. Ordering and production
Your poster is printed from the details, files and photos you enter when you order, as shown in the live preview on the product page. The product page checks your photo against the size you choose before you can order.

You type your times, splits and other results yourself, as they appear on your official results. We do not import them from results websites.

You are responsible for checking names, times, dates and spelling before you order. We print exactly what you enter. Corrections are possible if you reply to your order confirmation within 24 hours and the order has not gone to print.

4. Your content
By uploading a photo, GPS file or other content, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it for a printed product, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights. You keep all rights to your content. You grant us a limited licence to use it only to design, print and deliver your order.

We will not print race logos, trademarks or content that is unlawful, offensive or infringes third-party rights. We may refuse or cancel an order for these reasons and refund you in full.

We may show your finished design in our marketing only with your separate permission.

5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in your local currency and include VAT where it applies. Shipping is free on every order. Payment is taken when you place your order.

6. Production and delivery
Each item is made to order by our print partners, as close to the delivery address as possible. Delivery times on our Shipping page are estimates. Risk passes to you when the parcel is delivered.

Fine-art prints and framed posters for Switzerland, the EU, the UK and the US are printed locally, so there are no customs fees. Aluminium prints for Switzerland are made outside Switzerland, so Swiss import VAT and a handling fee may be charged on delivery and are payable by the recipient. For other destinations, local import duties may apply on delivery.

7. Cancellation, returns and refunds
Because every product is personalised, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply (for EU customers: Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(c)). You may cancel for a full refund within 24 hours of ordering, as long as your order has not gone to print. Damaged, defective or incorrect items are reprinted or refunded as described in our Refund policy.

8. Warranty and liability
If your item has a print or material defect, we replace or refund it. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the price paid for the order. We are not liable for indirect damage. Mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence are not affected.

9. Personal data
We process your personal data as described in our Privacy policy. Photos and files you send are used only for your order and deleted 12 months after delivery, unless you ask us to keep them for a reorder.

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The courts of Geneva, Switzerland, have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights consumers have to bring proceedings in their country of residence.

11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published on the site when you place your order applies to that order.
